Gabriel is a Structural Engineer graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology. He joined the family business in 1994 as Project Manager, excelling to become Contracts Manager in 1998. Gabriel gained a lot of experience in a wide range of large fast track and complicated projects including Commercial, Residential and Retail, gaining excellent management and interpersonal skills through the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams on site.
In 2010, Gabriel was appointed Managing Director of Manley Construction. With responsibility for both the corporate management and development of Manley Construction, he oversees projects from a strategic level ensuring the exacting standards and professionalism of Manley Construction is delivered, resulting in some of our award winning prestigious projects.

Tom Manley

Tom has a lifetime of experience within the Irish and British construction industry. He started his career as a Carpenter in Fermanagh. He went on to work in the UK on various types of projects including Hydro Electric Stations, Cement Factories and Domestic Housing and was during this time that Tom developed his role from trades to Site Management level.
Initially when Tom returned back to Ireland he worked as a Site Manager for JJ Duffy in Navan before setting up Manley Construction as a sole trader in 1982. The Company firstly concentrated on providing subcontracting services to some of the larger National Building Contractors in and around the Meath/ Louth/ Kildare and Dublin areas. The services provided included carpentry, interior fit out and project management.
In 1987 Tom incorporated the company and started Manley Construction in its current guise which was reported in the Business Magazine as No 1 in the top 20 fastest growing companies in the North East of Ireland in 1997.
Tom had successfully led the company which at its biggest had over 150 members of staff and a turnover of over €40m. Following his successful career as Managing Director Tom stepped down in 2010 to let Gabriel Manley run the overall Company Strategy. However, he is still actively involved within the company and supports the existing board of directors and the experienced technical management team on all construction projects.

Damien Manley

Damien joined the family business in 1996 as a Project Manager after graduating from Dublin Institute of Technology as a Civil Engineer. Damien was appointed Construction Director in 2001 with added responsibility for all matters relating to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental within the company. He has been solely responsible for the development and implementation of our Integrated Management System which is accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SafeTCert.
Damien has been associated with major projects such as Docfield Tallaght, Clarence Street, Cathal Brugha Barracks and the award winning Arc Cinema in Drogheda. In recent years Damien has been also been associated with some of our UK projects including Block D Warwick University and the Kantor Energy Development in Sheffield.
In 2015 Damien was awarded the Silver medal in the CIOB Construction Manager of the Year Awards.

Martina O’Hanlon

Our Financial Director, Martina O'Hanlon joined the company in 1989 with responsibility for the payroll and accounts. As the company grew, Martina's position and responsibility increased. She progressed to company accountant prior to her appointment to the Board of Directors in 1995. As Financial Director she has overall responsibility for the company's finances.
Martina is responsible for the management of the company's retained investment properties. This includes rent collection, lease agreements, building maintenance, registry of estate management companies and collection of annual facility management fees.
Martina also manages the legal aspects of the company's developments. This includes registering the development entity with the company's office, acting as the client and legal representative of the development company, arranging finances and lending criteria.
Additionally Martina generally is involved in the sales and marketing of our new developments. This includes pricing, sales agreements, client contracts, show houses, phasing of release dates and liaison with the public.

Martin Murray

Martin joined Manley Construction in 2004 as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with degrees in Construction Economics and Quantity Surveying. With over 19 years experience in commercial contracting Martin was appointed Surveying Director of Manley Construction in 2010, with responsibilities over cost management and value engineering.
Martin liaises with our Clients on all cost issues, making informed decisions at vital stages ensuring equilibrium is achieved between cost and value, he oversees all surveying and cost management on our projects working alongside our Project Team to provide complete value to our Clients.
Martin previously worked for high profile Quantity Surveyors including Healy Kelly Turner Townsend, Davis Langdon (now known as AECOM) and Page Kirkland Group (Australia).
