Sept 2023 - Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin, Finglas

Due to an increasing demand for special education and disability places in the region, the school needed additional temporary accommodation to be delivered quickly. We are excited to announce that this is the first project of its kind in Ireland! The project focuses on developing Modular 3D Units, which are an important part of sustainable modular schools. These units are not only impressive architecturally, but also demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. They are designed with energy efficiency, resource conservation, and minimal environmental impact in mind. Manley MCC has provided a top-quality modular solution to Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin in Finglas, with faster construction times and consistent quality due to offsite manufacturing processes. Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin is a primary school located in Finglas. Due to a growing demand for places for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEN) in the area, the school needed extra temporary facilities on two of its sites to be provided within a shorter period of time. Manley MMC, known for providing excellent education accommodation, was chosen as the main contractor for the Modular Building Solutions Framework due to their impressive history and reputation. Our team was responsible for managing the project from start to finish, including the fit-out process, in order to meet a tight 15-week deadline.  This was a complete project that included both the design and finishing of the interior, with a strong emphasis on the importance of the furnishings and decor. The sensory and emotional needs of the students were carefully considered in the design of these elements. The fit out included sturdy and top-quality furnishings that met all necessary standards. Manley MMC collaborated closely with the client and the Department of Education throughout the entire process, prioritising the needs of the students above all else.
